first one came broken. it's kinda flimsy. I entered a food competition (meatballs) and decided I was going to do Kibbeh. Part of my strategy involved making them round instead of the "correct" shape. SO, this thing held out the promise of perfect neat little uniform kibbeh. It is way faster and easier to make them by hand, whether you do round or the more traditional football shape. Didn't feel right returning it after I tried to use it. Then I tried it for a regular Sunday dinner, thought I'd make some fancy stuffed polpette. Same thing, easier by hand. IF you are dead set on using this contraption -- you need to oil all surfaces. heavily. And, even then you're gonna get sticking.
