Definitely makes small meatballs faster than hand rolling and since it's all stainless steel it's easy to clean up in the sink or dishwasher. However you need to be aware that these only make small meatballs, approximately 1". Suitable size for soups, canapés or sausage balls which I believe is what I will use these tools for in the future rather than my meal sized meatballs. When I make meatballs, I don't make 1" meatballs. I make traditional Italian Nonna-sized meatballs where you plop a trio on top of some fresh pasta or a hoagie roll for a meatball sammy. Since I make around 100 or so every few months and freeze them it takes quite a while to roll them all by hand and I wish I had a larger sized version of this tool that would do that. See the picture for the difference in size of my meatballs vs. the ones this tool produces. Still it's a neat little tool and I'm sure at Holiday entertaining time I will give it a sausage ball work out for sure.
