Small compact design. Humidity reading was close enough so I didn't have to adjust it.5/12/25 : Bought a second one to set up a 2nd Tuppadore. Calibrated using a Boveda packet and all is well. Calibration involves disassembly and moving the mechanism to the proper reading. Google it to find how to disassemble. (note: there appears to be a little screw on the back for adjustements. IT'S NOT A SCREW. So don't try to adjust it with what looks like a screw)

When calibrated with the salt test, it maintains the accuracy. Heavy duty, well made, good looking.

Definitely a cheapo, but it does work. I had to pop the back off and tweak the tension coil to get the needle calibrated to match "the salt test" for zeroing purposes. The needle is easily offset from movement, so best to keep the Hygrometer level. I achieve this in my humidor by having it set atop a small tin of cigarillos. If you are really serious about preserving your smokes, spend the money on a higher quality one.
