Some assembly experience and skill are helpful, but not absolutely necessary. The instructions are good, but need to be followed closely. Most importantly, the easel is well engineered and fabricated. It is sturdy and versatile.

This is an astonishing easel for the money. Upon opening the box I found all the individual pieces carefully wrapped in protective padded sheets and separated by foam. All the pieces and bags of hardware were clearly labelled and the instructions very easy to follow. The kit even includes the correct tools for the light assembly required. Everything lined up and fitted together perfectly.I really can’t get over how solid and high quality the easel feels and how premium the unboxing experience was. It’s a little disappointing to see it’s made in China but it really doesn’t feel like a cheap mass market product at all.In terms of function it’s very flexible and will accommodate most canvases in all the positions one might prefer to paint in.I would highly recommend this easel to anyone looking for a top quality piece at a very reasonable price.

I love working on this easel. I've been needing a new one. I cannot believe how meticulously this was packed. Definitely glad that I bought it. Beautiful and perfectly functional..

I was so excited to get this easel and gave away my original 2. It was easy to put together, but it did have a couple of nuts missing. I am just now getting to paint on it . I was in the middle of moving to another area of the house and turning it into my art studio. so still getting stuff arranged and also having to attend art events.

Great build quality, easy to assemble, sturdy and durable. A must have for anyone working with small to large canvases. I can’t recommend this enough. Amazing product. Highly recommended.

Can hold two paintings at one time, or a canvas and reference picture. Has four wheels to easily move or turn the easel. Is solidly built from solid polished wood. Can be set at different angles to a vertical, even set up horizontally for watercolor painting. After H frame Mabef this Medeen easel looks like an improvement in versatility of the use of the easel for painting.

If I could give ten stars, I would. This is one of the best-designed and -made items I have ever purchased. The packing was perfect. All parts were labelled in order of assembly. The assembly was illustrated with clear and accurate line drawings, depicting the assembly as cumulating (in other words, not disconnected details). The wood is, indeed, beech—a very strong, straight-grained hardwood. All hardware fittings are metal, except for the plastic hand-knobs. Every part was precisely machined, and all slots/rabbets/holes perfectly aligned. Amazing. So many products now are made for the owner/purchaser to complete the assembly. This is, of course, a profit-boost in terms of manufacturing and shipping. Fair enough; I get it (especially the shipping costs). But never before have I seen the constituent parts so well made and precisely fitted. Let me repeat: Amazing! BTW, there is a very well made video online detailing the step-by-step assembly. You don't really need it, but it's there. Last point: great easel. The ability to position your work horizontally is a major benefit for, say, cutting frisket, applying paint that needs to flow out, etc. Everything about this item is absolutely first-rate. Last time: Amazing!

良質な木材ですスライドする部分が少しがたつきますが構造上しょうがないのかなと思います隙間に何か挟めれば動かなくなるとは思います中央のフレームより小さいサイズだとあまり安定しないので何かしら手を加える必要がありますそうは言っても説明通りの物なのであまり不満はありませんほぼ完璧な商品

The easel arrive very well packaged. All the pieces were clearly marked and the 12 step instructions booklet was easy enough to follow (I'm 61 years young) and it took me about 45 minutes to assemble it. I also appreciated that the screwdrivers and the allen key required were included. I really like the light wood and smooth finish. My only concern is that the slats are little loose, but it seems pretty sturdy otherwise. I love that you can place two canvas simultaneously on it and that you can tilt it flat. The caster wheels roll easily and lock into place with easy. I think this was a great value for the price.
