I bought this kilt to wear, never having worn one before. It fits well, and is adjustable. I was surprised at how comfortable it was and have since purchased a couple more kilts. It's not super thick, so it's not suitable for really cold weather. I wore it when it was around 55 Fahrenheit and was comfortable, any colder and I wouldn't have been.

This is a lovely kilt and a deep shade of black. I found it too small though so had to return it. I might buy their billy kilt instead in black as l have a few kilts from this company. Billy kilts are a little more feminine and everyone comments on my 20" Stuart, its quite sexy! You can get a longer length if you don't feel quite so bold. They are great value and well made. There is a slight issue with the sizing and understanding how it works. I would have given it five stars if there wasn't a slight fluctuation in sizing. They were very good about my returning it. It didn't cost anything as l bought it via Amazon. Good old Amazon! They really look after their customers. I recommend Tartanista they are a good reliable company.
