I bought this because my boyfriend being a long time Phish fan. He was very pleased with this. He thought it was pretty cool.

The thing about galaxy print in the fashion industry is that the bigger it gets, the more blurry it becomes. Clothing is no different and even this tie didn't escape unscathed. Sadly, while the colors are vibrant, the print kinda blurs TOO much, where the stars are faded and can't be told apart from the nebula colors. There's no sharpness, I guess, but I also didn't pay a bunch for it. It looks cool from a distance but up close, it's not great

However, it is definitely a cheap polyester tie that's obvious from a distance. It has a shine to it that screams "cheap", which could be off putting.But, you're wearing the galaxy around your neck, so that alone should override the cheap shine.Overall I am satisfied to have this in my collection of ties and recommend it for the novelty factor. If you're expecting to be able to wear this in the boardroom, I would suggest looking for another one.
