I replaced my old 90 hp with a mercury 115 hp pro xs with command thrust. The new Motor can handle this 16 inch diameter prop. My big pontoon hit 22mph for the first time going upriver on the Mississippi. Very happy.

Chip and smear in the paint as if it was dropped or pried on the housing facing end while the box was being opened. Paint delaminating from the center of one of the blade faces after less than one months use with no object or ground strikes.I feel like my 17 pitch has higher rpms but will need to put it back on to confirm that it is not some issue with the engine. Due to the paint quality though I'm questioning if it's the actual propeller or a knockoff.Edit 7/16:So after looking more closely it turns out that there was microshrinkage also referred to as casting porosity in one of the blades where the paint was delaminating. Hoping they except a return as this is a manufacturing defect.Edit again on 7/16:Even though i noticed the issues and reviewed on July 3rd I wanted to make sure there was actually issues with the propeller. I did so and the seller communication back was sorry two days outside the 30 day window cant do it.
