Love this prop! Came wrapped up in so much bubble wrap i dont think it could have impregnated your mom but it has made my boat around 10 mph faster!

Not worth the money. I get better performance from the three blade prop.

I have a 25 hp Mercury and I was hoping for some power gains like others have stated in their reviews. The only difference I really notice between this and the three blade is handling in turns. It's a good quality prop for sure but just didn't live up to my more than likely un realistic expectations when it comes to performance.

Running this on a welded 1542 flat boat with a 25 EFI Merc. This prop is the ticket turning 5800 revs at WOT hitting 27-28 GPS. I tried the 9.5 pitch in this prop before getting this one and was hitting the rev limiter - my boat is light - all the testing performed by myself with a very light load in the boat. Holeshot is better than any other prop I’ve used.

Direct replacement for my 2006 25hp Merc. 4 stroke. Huge improvement from stock prop. Installed on 14’ Livingston center console. From a dead stop to wide open throttle major improvement. Top end speed and rpm increased and total holding under load improved a lot. Would reccomend this prop 100% to anyone wanting to improve immediate throttle response. Excellent customer service. I live in Hawaii and received my package in 5 days. Will definitely buy again, MAHALOS !!

Great improvement for my boat. Have a Alumacraft 145 with a Merc 25 HP. Gained around 5 MPH, and can stay on plane without maintaining full throttle. with my Sport 200 Hydrofoil I can have a lot of fun with my boat now. Turning is much better. can cut hard and still maintain most of my speed. With my 3 blade could not hit a plane with my live well full, now I can. Excelent replacement for your 25-30 HP Mercury.

If you read the other reviews they did't do this product justice. If you are looking for more potential out of your motor this will do it. I have a 16.5' Polar Kraft with the ice breaker ribs. To say the least it is heavy! I just put a new 30HP 4 stroke Mercury on it. The prop that the dealer put on was pitched too high. They put a 9.25X12.5 prop on it. If I had 2 + me in the boat my top end speed was 18.5 MPH. Just Me in the boat was 22.5 MPH. I was thinking I under powered my boat at first, but just by changing the pitch by 1.5 degrees, and having 4 instead of 3 blades really changed how I felt about buying the 30HP. It did what everyone said. I got way more torque and 3.5 more MPH. Now the cruising speed at 1/2 throttle is the top end speed of the old prop. This will make a difference in the performance of your boat!!!!!

I have a 16 ft Starcraft with a 30 horse mercury. From the time I bought it I was disappointed with the lack of get up and go. The boat came with the standard black max 3 blade with a 9.3 pitch. I complained to the boat dealer about my issues and they had me try an 11 pitch. This did make a small but definite difference but it still took forever to get up on plane and I lost a bit of speed. Well after a little bit of research I found the Spitfire. I took a chance and ordered a spitfire with the original 9.3 pitch. It has made a huge difference. I get up on plane in half the time, don't big down in sharp turns and I have gained 6 to 8 mph! From what I have read these are very common issues with boat packages like mine. It amazes me that the Spitfire is not standard equipment.
