I have some other merino hoodies from Smartwool, Duckworth, and Black Diamond. I nearly live in them, and decided to give this one a try, given its much more friendly price point. I'm very impressed, and feel it's on a similar quality level with those other more 'premium' brands.

Unbeatable quality for the price. Size up if you want looser fit.

Pros: excellent material, comfortable, well fitting hoodCons: thin material tears easily, not well suited to hard useI work winters on a ski mountain so I value wool garments. I really like this base layer top for its fit and comfort; the hood is perfectly tailored for wear under a ski helmet. Had planned to buy another, but holes or tears are now appearing after only a few months wear. Considering rather high price this is disappointing; i have 20-yr old Norwegian wool Still Longs still in great shape.

I've been looking for a fairly lightweight hoodie that could be worn under a jacket for a while. This line of wool sweaters is the perfect match! Wool? You ask? This wool is Merino wool and is the softest most comfortable fabric I've ever had next to my skin. I put one on over a tee shirt and got rid of the T-shirt right away. They call this line a base layer so this goes on first . You can build layers over it as you see fit for your climate and activity. Always warm and dry, you never sweat with this product. It's bacterial and odor resistant and even an occasional washing is all that's needed! I have 3 of them and have to force myself to wear a few different things now and then.

I really liked this light weight long sleeve shirt. I just used it on my backpacking trip this past weekend where there was 95% sun exposure. I thought the thumb holes were perfect length to provide my hands enough sun coverage. The hoodie part was nice, as I sometimes put it over my hat for added sun protection of my ears and back of my neck. The only issue I had was, when fully zipped, the top part of the zipper was VERY high up -- not a problem if you don't fully zip up. I also wished this came in a lighter/other colors.4.75/5

First of all, a hooded lightweight merino wool base layer is one of my goldilocks outdoor pieces. Biking, running, skiing, etc... it's a go to staple. They are getting a little hard to find, and are usually expensive. Enter Meriwool, cause dang, at 54 bucks this is a steal. Very soft and good fit once you get past the sizing. I almost always wear a medium base layer but had to bump up all the way to a large. Bought a small for my son and liked it so much I bought an M for me, but it fit the exact same as a small(?). Who cares, though? Well made, soft, good fit, fifty four bucks?? I am buying two more and hopefully they will last until I die! :-)

Hermosa playera con capucha. Térmica ;tal cual la descripción . Esta talla CH. Es para mi pequeño hijo. Mide 146 y pesa 45 kilogramos.

I originally bought this for backpacking but I wear it pretty much all winter except when I wash it. I can wear it for many days without any stink, if I have to. As far as budget Merino goes, this is my favorite. I tried a few brands. This was the most itch free and the best cut. Does run a tad small and I wish it was 1" longer, but I am tall. It is almost the same quality as Smartwool.I have a 100 lb lab pup so have to be outside a couple hrs a day all winter long. The zip up hoodie is the best feature as it protects the neck and head area from cold winter winds. Also, a big fan of thumb holes. Keeps the wrists warm when wearing gloves. Mine has a few holes after much wear, which I don't care since a base layer only. I just ordered a 2nd one. Good deal.

This base layer is slim, but it’s true to size. I wear small, and ordered this in small. Because it’s slim fit, I wouldn’t wear anything underneath it unless I order a size up. And it hasn’t picked up my body oder yet, which means the merino wool is doing what it’s supposed to so far. I spent all day outside in 18F ( -7C) weather, and this is a perfect base layer to use underneath a mid and outer layer. I forgot it was cold outside! And the hood keeps my head warm-ish, too. So, I bought a second one, and may buy a third in the near future. If you’re going to be active in it, you’ll get the most out of it by not wearing cotton underneath.
