The one stamp I really wanted/needed was never cut to have a design. Must have slipped through production.

This item is complete junk. It is made of lower carbon steel (by spark test on grinder) and is simply too soft. Two or three of them actually bent when I was trying them out. They cannot be rehardened because there isn't enough carbon in the steel for them to get hard. As an example of poor manufacturing, the end where you hit it with a hammer was obviously just cut off with a wire cutter. That could potentially could damage your hammer. You have to grind it off. They did not stamp well. Some not at all. The other sort of subtle thing about them is that they are round and not square. Square is what almost all punches are because you can orient them correctly. You cannot do that with a round punch. They are round because round steel is much cheaper than square stuff. I am not an expert on jewelry but I have done other metal work as a hobby for over thirty years so I know what I am talking about.

Product works well but description doesn’t say how tiny these designs are. They are way too small, you can barely see what pattern they are. Disappointed, returning.

I'm not as bothered by how short they are as I am with the shallow etching. Patterned stamps don't provide much detail. After a few projects, they'll be useless. Look closely at the ring photos, notice they don't show examples of the pattern stamps, only the hard edge bits. You can get that with an old, cut off screwdriver and make it as long as you like.

The stamps were nice sizes and designs. Unfortunately, after a few uses they stamp/fade out. I wish I could have two stamps that are stronger than 20 that wouldn’t last long.

The stamps came very rusty in the packaging, but after cleaning them up they seem to work just fine. They’re super tiny, a lot smaller than I expected, but actually will work out better for what I’m using them for.

So, for the price I didn't expect much from these, but they managed to fall short of even my low expectations. They are exceptionally crude, with the striking ends being clipped roughly off, rather than cleanly sawed. The pattern ends of them aren't hardened and tempered, and so they dull and deform very quickly, even though only being used on annealed silver. That's pretty bad when your steel texturing punches can't even stand up to soft precious metals. I will eventually get around to trying to harden and temper them after I clean them up and saw the striking ends off flat, but seriously...save yourself the money and just buy a good quality set to begin with, because these are crap.
