It is an ideal replacement control board if a previous board was burned out by a lightning strike, a power surge or if the previous board was burned out by reversed battery wiring.

Little concerned since product was not in 'antistatic ' wrap. However, product performed beautifully. No problems. Thanks!!!

I returned one board and purchased two. None worked. Mighty Mule will not answer the phone. NO customer support. I'm stuck and lost a lot of money on this gate opener.

The replacement we bought after the previous RP1003 stopped working, also stopped working. Each control board only lasted a short while. Going through all the steps to repair/reconfigure only results in it working for a day or so and then failing again. Customer support simply took us through all the same procedures we had already done before, so we'll see how long this fix lasts on the board (just purchased in May 2024.) Agent even suggested we had bought an off-brand part because he thought it should have cost more than we paid! Really disappointed in quality of both the product and the support.

This appears to be a genuine replacement. Fully functional, although the remote programing has not been without issue. Some had to be programmed multiple times. Only gets 3 stars for this and doesn't seem worth the high price tag.
