If you look at the photo offered in the add for these tiles they show as bright orange and shades of beachy blue. Now look at the photo I have posted and it is muddy yellow and not sure what the contrasting color wouldl be called. The foil in the ad picture looks silver and the foil in these look gold. I had a vendor working on a set of mirrors for me of which these were to be the frame, needless to say I had to reschedule the project as I am now looking for new tiles and returning these.

There is no mention in the description that this tile would fade in the sun. I’m very upset that my beautiful mosaic is not what I originally created.

These are absolutely gorgeous for use in mosaics. They cut cleanly using a good quality glass cutter and running pliers. The tile nippers crush the glass so I don't use those. Sometimes I need to use a pair of scissors to cut through the colored foil which stays in one piece after the glass is cut. My one complaint about the light blue tiles is that they fade to almost all silver after about 48 hours exposure to sunlight, even when inside through a window.

They are super pretty, pretty much as pictured. Can't wait to use them. I put shelves in a downstairs window that has been closed. The shelves had rough plywood edges and I'll finish those edges with the shiny pop so they look artisanal instead of like plywood shelves!

I really like this color for a dramatic background. The bigger size helps to make the image cohesive and covers faster. I have tried other background colors, but this one is definitely the best. In fact I will be needing more soon.. For smaller pieces this is a good accent color, but I prefer setting this nicely textured tile behind my larger works. Note: be aware of how you plan to use these tiles. They are not transparent but they still have a reflective sheen.They are not smooth but have a noticeable texture. I would not suggest their use on a very curved surface, such as a bottle or a bowl. They are great for background, borders or separating discrete images from each other. But do not take my word for it, try them yourself.!
