Works great! I have an HDMI Audio extractor that was giving me noise issues. Plugging this in between solved the problem, and no additional wiring/power needed!

Probably an unusual set up for me. I have a 12v power adapter and I run a car amp and 2 subs on my home system running direct from my PC to powered bookshelf speakers. With the amp gain set moderately there is a noticeable hum at low volumes. This didn't make any difference.
