Works okay. However the remote is very hard to use. I have to press the buttons pretty hard and repeatedly to work it. Very inconvenient

This mini wireless projector is a great option for portable use. It's lightweight and easy to transport, making it much more manageable than traditional, bulky projectors. The setup is relatively straightforward, though the included instructions could be clearer. The projector offers a decent image quality, suitable for presentations, short videos, and home entertainment in a darkened room. While it may not be full HD, it provides a clear picture. The wireless connectivity, including Wi-Fi and screen mirroring, offers flexibility in how you connect your devices. However, some users may encounter challenges with initial Wi-Fi setup or specific device compatibility.Keep in mind that you may need to supply your own HDMI cable and consider external speakers for better audio. Overall, this mini projector offers good portability and functionality at its price point.

The included "Quick Installation Guide" is joke, it is impossible to read without a magnifying glass and does not scan well with my Epson V600 flatbed scanner. I say it is a joke as it does not have a step-by-step connection and setup guide so you are on your own as to how to proceed. The projector comes with a IR remote control requiring two AAA batteries (not included). The manual shows the remote's buttons identified by function.I found that when I connected the 110VAC power cord and pressed the on/off button, the unit boot's up and displays the opening screen identified under "Signal" heading on page 11 of the Quick Installation guide. You must use the remote to navigate the screen to select the "settings" option. The WiFi option was problematical for me as I found that the password field is limited to 32 characters as I tried to enter my 48 character WiFi password so I was unable to connect directly to my Google router. With too many devices set up on my WiFi network to consider changing my WiFi password I solved the problem by use a TP-Link TL-WR702N travel router with its LAN connector connected to a port on my network switch so that I could connect the Smart Projector to the TP-Link WiFi SSID with its 8 character password.Once connected to the TP-Link SSID I was able to use the built in apps for Prime Video and YouTube to display streamed video. To play video from my Apple IPad Mini 6, I had to connect the iPad to the TP-Link SSID and choose the "+" icon to add the Air Pin app (and Prime Video) to the opening screen. Then select Air Pin app and its sub-menu is displayed. The manual does not cover the various selections in the sub-menu. I found it necessary to click the "Air Play" in the sub-menu then the Smart Projector shows up as "ATV_102" in the screen mirroring menu on the IPad.The better way is to connect a USB-C to HDMI adapter to the iPad and then use the HDMI input on the Smart Projector. That worked well until I went to disconnect the HDMI from the Smart Projector HDMI port, my HDMI cable pulled apart leaving the shell in the Smart Projector HDMI port. While it was working, I was pleased with the video performance as the movie sent from my iPad played without the jerkiness I noticed using the low speed WiFi provided by the TP-Link travel router. The brightness is acceptable in a darkened room as would be common when using a 35mm slid projector. There is no intensity adjustment in the settings menu. Movies with a dark cast like the end sequence in Edge of Tomorrow are dim. Movies with bright sunny images are easier to see the details of the image. I did find the projection mode screen where you can switch the projector mode from table mounted to hanging and front projection to rear projection. The image option has custom settings to adjust the keystone shape of the projected image to correct the projected image to rectangular when the Smart Project or is not mounted perfectly normal to the screen surface. One comment on the Air Pin program: The Projector kept announcing that an update to 5.6.1 is available (the version of the built in Air Pin is 4.4.3) with the option buttons to cancel or confirm. Choosing confirm did not download the offered upgrade and nothing I tried would accomplish the upgrade.

Beautiful and quirky, this little projector refuses to look like one! If it were mounted on a ceiling, it would look like just another track light. Everything about it seems engineered for simple, easy operation. The unit and accessories fit into a small, almost cubic box. It has only four items: the projector, power cord, instruction manual and remote. It's the remote that grants all access, manual controls being limited to the on/off switch, a focusing knob and a manual reset. There are ports for a USB stick.and HDMI input as well as a mini-jack for a headphone or external speaker. Three things made me withhold a 5th star:1. No carry case. Every other media projector I own or have used came with a carry bag or case.2. Brightness; although sufficient in low light for smaller groups or home use, it's not the freakish powerhouse that some of these units are known to be. Better than the cellphone sized units, but not like my tabletop projectors.3. No direct SD card slot. The USB port works very well - you can browse and play files directly with only the projector - but it doesn't like my SD card adapter. (My mini-SD/SIM sized card adapter did work okay.)Everything else is extremely easy! Once logged into the local Wi-Fi, I was able to login to my Netflix account, play video directly from YouTube, select an input or play videos from a cellphone using Miracast. (I wasn't able to get that to work, more likely due to my lack of technical savvy more than the gear, but I was able to transfer a video from the phone as a file and play it. So mission accomplished.)The yoke/bracket it sits on comes with a stick-on plate as a magnetic mount, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I would like to have seen a tripod socket or rubber grip pad option, but the latter could easily be made. For stability in portable use, some creativity will be required. For all of its quirks, this is the most unique, stylish media projector I've seen at a price point like this. My mind races with the possibilities it presents!
