Rings come in 1-inch, 30mm and 34mm diameters to accommodate scope tube sizes, and in different heights from low to high to accommodate objective bells, bolt lift and comb height. Choose the lowest height that provides clearance for your scope and bolt, while simultaneously positioning your aiming eye in line with the ocular lens. Make sure that Rail Type when buying these rings. The most common rail types are Picatinny and Weaver. However, there are many other kinds of rails so check out which one you have and choose a scope ring that fits.

Great idea to remove a scope for storing a fire arm in a safe but to remount scope to the firearm and keep the scope from wobbling around I had to tighten the mount bolts so tight that I could not flip the throw lever buy hand pressure. I could use pliers to move the lever but that puts tool marks on the levers so these mounts get a 1from me.

Nice Rings BUT be aware the center square locking screw is just shy of .200 in. This is not a problem for true Picatinny mil spec rails that have a slot of .206 in. That said I was surprised to find the intended application, a Savage A17 was considerably shallower and thinner in the locking slot. That's the great thing about "standards" there are so many of them with "variations". Seem to be great rings otherwise and I'll use them else ware someday.The UTG rings without a slot fitting square cross screw are a bit more and if anything a bit less in the build quality but fit none the less out of the package.

Ordered these a few weeks ago and they arrived promptly. As I was out of town when this order arrived, it was about two weeks before I could look at them. I was impressed upon taking them out of the package, they appeared to be quality items. Well made even. My problem didn't appear until I installed them on the pic rail. After mounting the scope in the rings

These are very good mounts for the money. I used them on a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 with a 3x9 Nikon Pro Staff Rimfire scope. They are well made and heavy duty. I really like the attachment levers. You do need to adjust the bolt tightness to get the proper lever tightness, but once you do, they stay put. They make it very easy to put on and take off my rail. The hex bolts and heads are very well made and torqued down evenly.All in all, I'm not sure why you would pay more. These worked really well for my application and the price was right.

I am using this on a Ruger 10/22 takedown target with a Nikon 4-12 x 40mm Prostaff Rimfire II. I have to be able to remove the scope in order to fit the small bag so I wanted quick release rings. The Ruger comes with a Weaver rail so I had to order a Picatinny rail for my Ruger. I have learned the Picatinny has standard size slots and Weaver does not. AR uses Picatinny, so if you have a choice of which way to go, go with Picatinny.Some things to think about - the body of the rings is aluminum and the screws are steel so don't over tighten. These go on and off easy and make a tight fit. Have not been to the range yet but I am glad I got these for the price.The front of my scope sits about 1/2 inch above the barrel so low rings would have worked. But I think I would be more comfortable if the scope was higher and father back, so I am going to order and try out a set of high cantilever rings to raise the scope and move it father back (I have it as far back as I can now). This may be because I wear progressive bifocals. I notice that AR platforms have the scope up high.The lever arms and be positioned on the left or right and you can have the arm go forward or backward.I am glad the price is reasonable so I can experiment with different configurations.
