This ended up being so easy to replace. Went to turn off hot water handle and it broke off at the neck and went flying. The part that gripped the D shaped extender neck on the handle broke in many pieces. Found this replacement part on Amazon after uploading a picture of our faucet on Moen's website. That told us the type of faucet we had and the part number we needed as the faucet came with the house when we bought it 15 years ago. It was cheaper to get off Amazon. Was a little worried about having to replace the D shaped extender since new handle does not use that but...no problem. The replacement piece comes with the handle and in just a few easy steps like taking off the old extender (D shape - no longer used) and unscrewing the old piece that they sent a replacement for and putting the new one on...the handle is as good or better than before. In all took less than 5 minutes. Thank goodness for Amazon.

Was very disappointed with the handle. I was replacing a solid brass, hefty handle with a plastic handle. Yuck 🤢. It did work, but very disappointed.
