Just buy the Moog parts, stay away from local auto parts store parts unless its an emergency. I have bought the cheap garbage from local auto parts store in the past. Its great that the auto parts store parts usual has a lifetime guarantee, but what the point if it fails in a year and they give you a free part which means you have to either spend your time replacing it yourself or pay a mechanic because they typically will not pay for labor or the front end alignment you have to do after replacing some steering/suspension parts. Just buy the Moog part and get better quality and durability.

It works but it should have came with a right angle grease fitting. Get a new right angle grease nipple for it so that you can easily grease it once installed on the truck and make sure it’s facing towards the center link. Other than that, seems to work as advertised

Almost a third the price of local parts store! Love MOOG parts and their redesigns including grease-able fittings. Part fit excellent on 2001 F150 2WD.

I saved so much money buying these and doing it myself. The dealer quoted me over $2000 to do all my tie rod ends, ball joints, and idler arm. This was a 2001 F-150 that I purchased for about $3800 with I spent about $400 on Amazon and spent about 6 hours doing it. It was honestly pretty tough but you can rent the proper tools to make it easier. If anyone wants to know more about doing it, be sure to check out YouTube... It helped me a ton. I have used Moog on my whole front end now and have put about 10k on it with no issues yet.

Easy installation, was a direct replacement and much better quality than stock. Item shipped fast and package arrived in perfect condition. No reason to take it to a shop to do this repair. With a few basic tools you can get it done safely and easily. Plus the tools will most likely last a lifetime.
