For the most part, this is a great replacement unit. Seems durable enough for the price and fixed my failed OEM tie rod. Replaced both sides at once but unfortunately one of them had stripped out threads for the zerk fitting. Nipple would not screw in properly and I didn’t have time to return for a new one. Used a 1/4-20 tap to recut the threads and nipple threaded right in. Unfortunate considering MOOG’s reputation but hopefully that was a one-off issue.

I bought this after replacing another tie rod end with a Dorman unit from my local auto parts store. I bought the Dorman one because I was in a rush to replace that one (the original tie rod end was in bad shape), but since the other tie rod end was basically OK, I had time to order this one. I really wish I could've used Moog parts for both of them - the quality is top notch and I love that it has a serviceable grease fitting. The OEM units and the Dorman units do NOT have grease fittings.This was packaged well, part was in perfect condition, and already had a decent amount of grease in it. Very happy with it and definitely would recommend it.

Installed on 2014 jeep grand cherokee v6 4x4. Fitment was perfect. Part seems very durable and well made. Would recommend to anyone replacing tie rod ends.
