This is a set of 4 disc-style "step-in" solar path lights. The base is two pieces ABS plastic that slide together and snap to the light. You can step the whole thing into the ground with the palm of your hand or the flat bottom of your shoe. They aren't magic, they need soft-ish ground to be pushed into, adjust your expectations. The solar panels are modern as are the light phosphors, so the lights are bright and they stay lit for several hours after coming on at dusk. These have been around forever, these newer versions are better. I've dragged these out to Burning Man to use as safety lights around equipment at cam and they held up great.

The photos in the description left me with the expectation that these would be a lot brighter than they are. I have 4 shrubs in my flowerbed, so I put one in front of each, thinking they would brighten things up there at night... but they really don't do much in the way of casting light on them. My original plan was to put them along the side of a curved sidewalk, but they stick up above the ground far enough that I was concerned about them being struck by a lawnmower. They also don't seem to hold enough charge to last all night. They do have a nice look about them, so if the existence of the lights is your objective (rather than actively illuminating an object) they still might be a viable choice.

I put these around my patio and pool. I love the glow from the ground as opposed to the solar light stakes. They're a great size and blend well with landscaping. I just wish the plastic on the spike was a little more durable because one broke when I was putting it in the ground.

These solar lights are great. The directions said it would take a couple of days to be at full charge, but they lit up the first night I put them outside even though that was only a couple of hours before dusk. I set them along a pathway leading to our cottage and they are great for when we get home after dark. They look nice and are just what we needed.

Love them, but I do have an unusual use case.... They up light a tree from a wall. Had some other, nearly identical lights in the holes that were getting old so got these. They appear almost identical to the others, appear about the same quality, but have a wider flat base rim so they actually fit flush with the wall surface where the other ones sat above just a bit. The switch on the bottom feels a bit flimsy, but I never turn them off, so shouldn't be an issue. One thing I wish was that they had a warmer white light. These are cool blue white, where the old ones were a more inviting warm white light. Could be the other ones yellowed as they aged, however... See picture. Also, thought I read it was a two pack, but there were two packs of 2.

These very lightweight led lights shine bright and have an on-off switch on the bottom side. The “stakes” are two plastic pieces that snap into holes on the bottom as well. Instructions included. They state the rechargable battery is replaceable, but only state to replace them with an "equivalent new solar charger rechargable battery" but don't specify what that actually may be. Removing the top to access the battery, the eletronics are sealed by pushing the clear cover over a flexible seal around the perimeter. One concern is durability as they are very lightweight and I and and I’m not sure they will withstand the weather for long. Time well tell. I'll update after they are exposed to the weather for some time.

Exposed screws, thin metal ring, only 4 LEDs with a small solar panel and an unspecified rechargeable battery, with a ground stick. Okay as an accent light and works, but I would not step on it. The reviewed set of 4 lights is reasonably priced but there are much better designed and made similar outdoor solar lights available in the same price range.
