For reference, I am 5'0, 150lbs and in my third trimester. These shorts are made with a nice, thick material, however I'm not a huge fan of the waist band. The crotch area also almost seems to long? It was very baggy in the crotch, though tight everywhere else so I don't think sizing up or down would've helped. I'm thinking this just isn't designed well for more petite people.

I followed the size chart and ordered a size small and the shorts fit strange. There was a lot of extra fabric in the crotch area. I wore the shorts once and decided they weren't for me. They are made of breathable stretchy fabric and would be good for everyday wear or going to gym.

I'm an old woman with bad circulation and a thick waist. Shorts or trousers that are cut to look good while I'm standing up, turn into torture devices when I sit, binding around the waist, the joint of leg and hip, around the leg often, and usually doing a wedgie, too. But these came up in my feed and I had a light-bulb moment.The shorts wash well, are blissfully soft, and are actually better than wearing nothing, especially when I have to pick up Amazon shipments from the bottom of the steps to the apartment because USPS tends to be too lazy to carry them to the top. Don't need to flash the neighborhood, but a skirt long enough to cover is going to be a hazard walking up the steps when my hands are tied up with a big box.They have a crotch gusset, so they don't cut upwards. They don't really have a waistband, but a strip of fabric doubled over and sewn to a hip-level seam. I could swear that gives a little back support, too. To write this, I'm in my office rocker with my feet up, by way of testing the fit and flexibility, and I'm barely aware of wearing these.Downsides: Don't forget they are 100% polyester. If you have a contact sensitivity, it will still get you if you wear them too long. Spending all day in them is not good to my skin, but YMMV. Most people are fine with spun plastic. They don't have pockets, though they could probably sneak a key pocket into that hip seam. I know, they're for people crouched over their racing bikes and that would get in the way. These are for people with a baby on board. Crouching is not on the menu.

These fit perfectly and were exactly what I was looking for. For whatever reason, it seems like there's no maternity clothes in the store anymore?! Love the versatility of the black, and they washed well and didn't fade. These will be a warm-weather staple!

I'm really not a bike short person but I'm pleasantly surprised about how comfortable these are! The fabric is soft to the touch (surprising for synthetic) and the fit is reasonably flattering, as much as bike shorts can be. These will definitely be a go to this summer.I typically wore a M or L pre-pregnancy depending on the brand, and I feel like the M size fits my body well with room to expand as I hit third tri.
