Product came packaged with each plates and screws separated from each other to avoid scratching. You will remove the OEM Black screws, retain the black plate, put these Stainless Steel plates on top and fasten with provided stainless steel screws. It's not a super thick, heavy gauge, strip of metal, but not super thin either. Perfect thickness of metal for the purpose.

The photos here don't give this product justice as the cuts for the design are so precise without any kind of barbs that I'm sure this is computer-aided laser cut! My only minor gripe is that it uses smaller hex head size than OEM.

The fuse box cover pair were a perfect fit and look awesome on my Yamaha XSR900. I painted the original fuse box covers silver so the new covers would look even better. I'm definitely happy.
