Looks good bolts are all the wrong size and wrong colour. Product is entirely black, all the bolts and nuts that came with it are silver. Really makes them stand out on an all black motoelrcycle. The bolts to assemble the pieces are #6 metric and the holes are for #8. So no matter how tight you make it, the rack is going to shift downward. Bottom line, do yourself a favour and buy your own black hardware.Also the side rails that secure to the bike are pretty thin so it would be quite easily to twist, bend and distort the whole thing by hand.

The quality is definitely there. But, the product does not include spacers to mount the bracket on the rear fender (literally metal to metal touching with nothing stopping it from scratching up the paint job.Returned.

This rack was purchased on the recommendation by others that insisted that it fit the Rebel 1100T (Tour). It does not. It was suggested that two spacers needed to be removed from the side bag mounts. Doing so would then require the bracket to be bolted up against plastic trim pieces that would eventually deform allowing the mounting bolts to loosen and cause stress on the plastic side boxes. I made spacers using some unistrut to allow the brackets to be mounted without removing the factory spacers (pictures show finished bracket spacers). I haven't found another better solution and these this rack will work if you're willing to make the spacers.

I added this on to my bike today. The quality was better than I expected. Easy to install and now I have extra needed storage.

Very easy to install no help was required. Works well with my pannier rails. Had to remove the Sissy bar when I fitted a top box to the rack as the lid would not open fully, but I really only bought it for the rack. I would recommend this Luggage Rack and Sissy Bar.

This backrest DOES fit the Rebel 1100T (with hard saddlebags), but there are a few things you need to:1. Remove the saddlebags - There are 4 Hex bolts to remove per saddlebag, two on the side and 2 on the bottom2. Then you need to remove ANOTHER 2 bolts to place the backrest. These bolts were a serious pain to loosen. I recommend spraying them with WD-40 and waiting 30 minutes before trying. Also they require a 12mm hex wrench. Don't try to use an open wrench; you won't get enough torque.3. On my stock 1100T, there were metal spacers that I removed; otherwise the backrest couldn't fit. I don't think they are needed anymore as the backrest takes up almost the same width as the 2 spacers on each side.other than the above, it was a fairly easy install but I also wish they had included directions.
