It's an OK sissy bar, a little high priced. One of the brackets on the left side was bent inward a little and I had to heat it up to straighten. Was surprised to see that there are no pre-drilled hole placement for the backrest. They supply 2 small self taping screws and I guess this is so you can decide where you want the backrest pad. Replaced the shipped screws with heavier ones. The weld points are ok, seem to be strong enough.All in all it's a nice bar, I just think it's little pricey.

The quality the metal was solid. It didnt quite fit as I would have expected. I needed some rubber grommets between the rack and the bike, I also got two longer bolts to make up the space difference. Once it was on, it was great and looks good to. Strong. The only thing I didn't like was the seat cushion. It was only held on by two screws driven through wood inside cushion. I see this coming off in the near future. One wrong leg over the bike and its off.

The box was damaged when I first received it. I opened it and everything was wrapped fine and didn't see any damage. I didn't get any instructions either so I had to go off pictures in reviews but none of the pictures show how the bolts line up or anything.Easy enough to assemble though. But getting it on the bike is another story. I could get it to line up just fine on both sides of the bike. But when one side was lined up, the other side wouldn't line up. Ended up just having to use brute force to bend the metal and get it to work. Took two hours from beginning to end. I would take it off and return it but considering I stripped a bolt putting it on. I won't be able to get it off. But it's on tight so I'm not too worried about it's functionality, just disappointed in lack of directions and how it wasnt probably aligned.

I was so excited for this product. I had high hopes for it. I got the package fast. Which is great! I open the box, take off the protective packaging, and find a huge damaged area. Like someone tried to mount something badly. Didnt work so they returned it. Then they repackaged it and shipped it to me without touching up the paint. Theres literally two things I cared about with this product. 1. It was sturdy and well built. 2. That it wasnt damaged.I hope the company can help me remediate this quickly. I would be willing to update my review after..
