I was excited to find this product for what I think is a great deal. It installed easily and fits perfectly on my 2018 Street Glide. It's easy to take on and off which is great because I don't like to leave it on unless I need it. This is perfect for luggage and will also help when I can get the tour pack my wife wants so badly. I highly recommend this.

This luggage rack/mounting plate fit perfectly into the mounting points on my 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide. It’s made from a thick metal plate that is mostly nicely chromed. I say mostly, as on the undersides it looks as if the chrome was spray painted on and some of it wasn’t quite thick enough. I don’t know exactly how chrome is applied and it’s likely not just spray painted on, but that’s sort of how it looks to me. That sort of shows the picture.Still, that’s on the underside of this mount and will never been seen, especially if you mount a tour pack or some other trunk to this, the likely reason you’d purchase it. I plan on fabricating a large wire tray that will bolt to this, large enough to hold a large duffle bag but still allow room for the saddle bags to open.I can wholeheartedly recommend this detachable luggage rack mounting plate. Fits perfectly on the Harley, durable, looks good (at least what would be visible) and is attractively priced.

This quick release bracket really surprised me, the quality of the build was as good, if not better than the OEM version. Great fit and finish... Looking forward to the many uses (platform for camping gear, support for tour pack) including as a custom build to use it as a flag holder for parades.
