I have nothing negative to say about these winter riding pants! They are the warmest, nice suede seat for safety, full length zippers, adjustable waist, and so comfortable. I love these and highly recommend to all who brave the elements to enjoy our horses year around.

Not usable. I’m 5’11” and weigh 190 lbs. waist fit on the XL but at least 5 inches too long. What a waste! I really needed these!

This is the second pair of Polar breeches I have had from Mountain Horse. The first pair took me through 12 cold winters and kept me unbelievably warm. Additionally, they are very tough and can withstand a lot of abuse with working around the barn. My new pair are equally as warm and have been much improved on since my first pair. Love how the new polars fit and looks are much improved. They are practically weightless which makes them easy on and off.

I ride a lot. Winter is difficult because I get cold really easy. Not in these pants!! They are durable, warm and fit like a glove!! Also fit true to size. Adjustable waist is great. I like that I can open the leg space for my tall boots and Velcro around them easily and they stay in place. Love them!!

This are awesome! For cold winter rides. Comfortable and very warm, so warm that it better be cold out when wearing them or plan to sweat to death. Lol very well made and thoughtful design worth the money which is pretty rare these days

Nice product, looks like they will do the job keeping me warm and dry at the barn this winter, but as others have said, the pants are extremely long. I'm 5'6" with a 32" inseam and these seem about 4" too long. However, there's not a whole lot to choose from in this field so I'm keeping them.

Oh my gosh, I am in LOVE with these! As an equestrian in Wisconsin, winters are rough. Very, very rough. As in "the windchill is -40*" rough. I decided not to skimp on winter clothing this year, and I'm so glad I didn't. I wore these for the first time when the real temperature was 3* and the wind chill was -10* and I was legitimately too hot. I layered them only with a pair of leggings and normal riding breeches, so nothing crazy there. I'm trying them in a few days when the high is 8 below, so we'll see how it goes, but I am quite optimistic.I love the extra snaps and zipper that make these easy to adjust, and they are LONG! No need to worry about them riding up your calf in your boots! I am a US womens size 4, and I went with the medium size after much debate. The waist snaps are at their tightest for me, but they do fit quite well, and there's plenty of room to layer underneath as well as let the air inside warm up for insulation. If you live in an extreme winter climate, these are the breeches for you. They are well worth the money.
