It worked like is should, but after about 4 months it came apart when removing it. The outer cover came off, leaving the usb in my laptop. A pair of tweezers was needed to pull it out.

I got this because my work computer locks after 3 minutes of no activity, which is crazy, but for security. I can't even step away to the bathroom or to get a coffee without having to log back in when I return. Since I work mostly from home, there's no security issues, so this little device helps. It does what it's supposed to do - keep your mouse pointer constantly moving to prevent the computer from going to 'sleep'.My reason for deducting one star is that the movement is NOT subtle. There is a small button on the dongle that powers it on, and cycles between the two settings. A long push powers it off. The first setting is a 'subtle' movement. It is random and moves 2-3 pixels 3-4 times a second. It is definitely noticeable if you're working. Sometimes the mouse will move completely across the monitors in a few minutes, but that's not the issue. It is almost too much movement for normal work. If you need precise clicks (highlighting small text, clicking points in a drawing, etc.) the movement is annoying. Yes, you can power it off or unplug it when you don't need it, but that sort of defeats the purpose. The second setting is very big random movements (like 1-6 inches of movement 2-3 times per second). Don't know why you'd even need this setting.

I work from home, sadly my employer controlled Windows settings throws the system into sleep mode automatically after 5 minutes of no activity. So my team will think I’m not at work, yet I’m drawing on my whiteboard.This mouse jiggler literally saved my job!So easy! I just plugged it in the side of my laptop in the 1 USB port I had vacant, pressed the on button and now I’m look like I’m online at all times. There are different settings for the mouse mover.It works perfectly easier than expected.I plan to buy another as a back up.Amazing price!

This jiggler is a lifesaver and is very easy to set up and use. The company I work for has a feature that if my computer goes to sleep, all of my logins are removed. This can be frustrating to have to open everything again. Even if I have to step away, this device keeps my computer turned on, open, and operating.I don't need to bother about logging back in or my screen freezing. This functions comparable to a personal assistant, keeping my computer awake and running.
