This is the worst junk I have ever received from Amazon. I had to wait four days for delivery from the West Coast. When I attempted to install on the saw, the pickup fingers of the coil hit the magnets on the saw. Saw is a Stihl MS180. I used a Dremel tool to remove enough metal to be able to fasten the coil to the saw and clear the magnets on the flywheel. The saw started right up and ran for 30 seconds and then died and would not restart. I went to my local Stihl dealer and for $44.00 I purchased an OEM coil. Coil fit, the saw started right up and I was able to cut wood with it. I have not had good luck with Chinese ignition coils. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and buy OEM coils from your local dealer.

This ignition module appeared and fit the same as the oem unit. I set the gap at 0.010 “ and reassembled the saw. It fired right up. Amazon wants me to review the “stretch, sheerness, and thickness”. It did not stretch when I installed it. I held it up to the light and there was absolutely no sheerness. And finally, I measured the thickness of the metal frame and it was exactly the same as the one being replaced. It’s a good replacement.
