With our family constantly embarking on new adventures, I was searching for a scrapbook or journal to capture our many memories, and this Adventure Book has truly delivered.It arrived nestled in a travel-inspired and reusable gift box, and the scrapbook itself is a comfortable 10.25" x 7", making it conveniently compact for camper storage. The hard cover boasts a beautiful design with embossed travel-themed stamps, and the red interior of the covers adds a lovely touch.The quality brown Kraft paper pages are a joy to write on, offering a smooth surface for journaling. The inclusion of eight wedding-themed sheets alongside twenty-one blank pages provides ample space for words, photos, mementos, and other travel ephemera. It's remarkable how much inspiration this book sparks. Several sheets of stamps and DIY stickers further enhance its versatility.What I appreciate most is the unassembled design, allowing for complete customization of the page order and the ability to add or remove sheets as needed. Once the layout is perfect, the provided silky cord securely binds everything together. This feature is a major plus for me, as I can confidently add more pages and photos, knowing the book can easily expand to accommodate our growing collection of memories.Without a doubt, this is one of the best travel journals I've found at this price point, and I'm already envisioning purchasing more for myself and as thoughtful gifts in the future.

I have been purchasing papers, stickers, and other supplies in the hopes of starting a scrapbook/journal soon. The only thing missing was the actual scrapbook, as I had not been able to find what I wanted…..until recently. I saw the Phoenix Myth embossed scrapbook and I knew instantly that this was the one I wanted.I have taken photos in hopes of showing how beautiful this is, but the pictures don’t do it justice. The box itself that it comes in is a piece of art. Inside, is a beautifully embossed book textured with golds, turquoise, and browns. It gives off an unmistakably vintage antique look. There are 124 pages in total, with every one different, some lined, most unlined, some gold coloured, sepia, coffee, gorgeous colours, some with intricate borders, or maps, some with stamps, some steam punk. I have never seen a more beautiful journal/ scrapbook.It measures 9”x7”. When opened, it opens out to 13” to write upon. It’s size makes it portable enough to carry with you, however, and I say this, not critically, I do wish it was a little bigger. I would give up the portability to have more pages and more of of this stunning book, maybe an even 12”x12”.
Even the title is perfect. Called “My Adventure Book”, this book is made for the individual, not for couples, like many are.The paper inside is very high quality, acid free, and quite thick. Nothing flimsy about it. At the back is a large cardstock like envelope bound into the inside back cover. Inside is a set of stamps. You can hold some larger memorabilia that you want to save inside. The binding itself is excellent, with pages in tightly, no worries of pages coming loose. While it says it lays flat when open, it does not lay quite flat, unless you put something heavy on the other side to weight it down. It also has two bookmark ribbons to mark your place. It also comes with a fine point black pen which is good quality.While I already have materials to use inside this book, I am now on the hunt for a perfect fountain pen to use with this. This it does come with the pen, I feel it deserves the best of inks and a simple, ordinary pen will not suffice.This would make the most beautiful gift for a teen who likes to write or draw, or for the adult who enjoys journalling and scrapbooking. It is now on my list of items to purchase and gift to others. It’s price of $38.99 is well worth it, and at the moment, there is a 15% off coupon available. I am in love with this book. It gives off the feeling of living in a simpler time and I am enjoy using it very much and will get a lot of use from it. This is definitely a well deserved 5 star review.

This is a fairly nice book, with a decent cover and nice pages within.That said, its size is a little big for a journal, but a little small for a scrapbook.Also, some of the pages are nery journal-like, while others are clearly intended for a scrapbook.I'm not sure exactly how best to use it. But, it is nice.

I recently got the My Adventure Book scrapbook for our family vacation, and it turned out to be a great idea. My daughter had a fun time filling it out during our trip as it allowed her to record great memories in real time. The retro-style embossed cover gives it a nice nostalgic feel, and the 124 pages provide plenty of space for photos, notes, and decorations. It’s sturdy, well-made, and perfect for DIY scrapbooking. A solid five stars from us and definitely recommended.

I ordered the Adventure Book Diary Photo Scrapbook from ‘Let the Adventure Begin’, because “Up” is one of my favourite movies of all time, and I have always wanted to re-create the scrapbook from the movie.I think there must be different variations of this item, however, because looking at the reviews, what I got is not what others are reviewing.The item I received has two covers, heavy cardboard, beautiful artwork, with two holes for the string (included) to bind the pages of the book.The pages are plain, heavyweight, brown craft paper. There is nothing printed on any of the pages. The paper quality is excellent, and heavy enough that even a sharpie would not bleed through unless you really tried. Fountain pen, roller ball, brush, all of it has zero bleed through.The size is a bit smaller than what I expected from the product images, but I think that’s just camera angle. It is small-ish, but for me it’s absolutely perfect. You start with an entirely blank page, all my pages are blank.So, for the reviews complaining about it being 11 pages of ‘wedding memories’ - (note that I still ordered it, even after reading those reviews, because it still looked so much like the book from the movie!) I can only assume they received a variant of this item. I’m happy I got blank pages.I could not be more pleased with this item, I’d give it as a gift, and I’d recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the movie!

What do I mean by that? I mean that this book does not know what it is or who it is intended for. The main box is bigger and has the vintage looking UP look to it with the old maps and Up references. When you open it up, there is another similarly designed box that is smaller. There are also a bunch of brightly colored stickers that do not match the book at all. There is a Chinese kawaii looking branded pen with different color refills. There are also 2 alphabet stencils. Inside the sticker pack, there are some random Up themed postcards. Other than those postcards, the other items do not go with the look or feel of this book. When you open the smaller box, you find the beautiful Adventure book, a pack of stickers that look like stamps, and a bag of large tags that look like price tags. One side is white and the other has random floral patterns. Are these supposed to look like luggage tags, maybe? No idea. When you open the book itself, it is really nice and high quality. The cover is beautifully designed. The metal latch is well constructed and has a vintage look to it. The pages inside, although a little dark, look like old brown paper. The pages are designed well. I just feel like all these extra things thrown into the box, especially the outer box, do not match this book at all. They seem geared toward really small kids. The colors are too bright. The pen has nothing to do with Up or vintage journals. You would not want to write in this book with the colors in this pen. You would not want to use the bright candy colored heart stickers in this book. All these extras feel like they are intended for a very small kid, while the book itself is beautiful and should be geared toward an older kid or an adult who wants to journal about their own travels or life. Yes, the move is a children's move, but the story is timeless and a lot of adults love this movie. They are missing an opportunity to market this book to couples or adults because they put all these cheap looking add-ins into the box. They really did not need any add-ins. If they did feel the need to put add-ins into the box, then they should have chosen a vintage looking pen and stickers that looked more old world. The colors are just off. Maybe they were trying to match the colorful balloons? If so, maybe vintage but colorful balloons and hot air balloons would have been better? Not candy colored hearts and bright-colored trims. These are just my personal thoughts. I gave it a 5 star review because the book itself deserves it. The other stuff were extras and I don't think extras should bring down the review even if they aren't the best.

I just needed a blank album so I hadn’t realized at least five pages had themes for pictures, but it’s ok, because it was easy to remove those pictures. Great album, came with photo corners and stickers.
