Lasted about 35 days just outside the 30 day return period. It’s around the most expensive one to get off eBay for a 2002 Yamaha r1, not worth the money. Just buy 2 of the cheapest ones and keep one in the bike for a spare when it goes bad. These eBay rectifiers always go bad no matter what.

Went 13 miles to a cycle gear, and on the way the rectifier melts itself into oblivion and drips whatever all over my exhaust and drains my battery. Coasted to a stop, in a parking lot. If your going to buy a rectifier, stator, or rotor, go with oem, or RMSTATOR their the closest to oem. Do t cheap out. This piece of junk has left me stranded and needing another tow.

Bought this thinking it would fix the issue on my 06 FZ1. The problem ended up being the stator and the magnets on the generator . I left this one on, It has been installed for about 4 months and no issue. Still have the stock one as backup.

The product is good. It is lightweight compared to the original Regulator/rectifier and takes up a lot less space due to a smaller heat sink. As we all know with aftermarket parts some adjustments have to be made because the OEM clips on the bike for both stator side and rectifier side were a bit ‘resistant’ to get over adequately and it feels like you almost have to force them over to make the adequate contact. So just in case I’d suggest persons purchase some other clips for both regulator and stator and they should get the job done.
