We're using this super-cute "door dog" draft stopper as a bi-directional door stop and it works great. I joined the string loops together and slide those under the door, which wraps the "dog" around the door slab. It holds the door partially open quite effectively, letting cats use the litterbox at night with less noise to wake us up.Material and construction are very good, and as advertised the thing is really cute. I looked through several hundred and didn't find any one as cute and well-designed as this one. It's too bad this brand's "cat" is so plain. They clearly put some effort into the "dog", so hopefully a "cat 2.0" model will live up to the dog.Update: so cute and effective, we bought a second one. Yaay for "door dog".

This blocks the drafts very well. It is well made and heavyweight. I would recommend.
