Great for use as intended from the manufacturer, but the usb is very handy as well for other charging/powering options. I shoot a lot of my daughters volleyball games and the 1/4 20 screw attaches right to my GoPro and will run it all day.

Der externe Akkuhalter ist etwas, das ich bei anderen Herrstellern von Film-LEDröhren vermisst habe.Ich habe jahrelang mit Kino Flo Röhren gearbeitet (4 Band bis zu den neuen T44).Dedo Weigert hat mir vor drei Jahren die Produkte von Nanette gezeigt und seitdem sind die kleinen Pavotube II 6C bei mir im Einsatz.Bei Nanlite bemängelte ich die Akkulaufzeit, die sich auch auf die II 6c widerspiegelt.Mit dem Akkuhalter konnte dieses Problem gelöst werden.Der Halter ist robust verarbeitet und wird and die Röhre angeschraubt. Stromversorgung erfolgt über das angebrachte USB C Kabel.Fummelig ist die Akkuabdeckung (da kann eine bessere Lösung verbraucht werden).

Useful but falls short of my needs.Disappointed in Nanlite for this one. Pictures and description say uses Sony L series battery. Unfortunately they mean the smaller width / capacity ones that fit internally. Without a picture showing multi views of the whole item, I wrongly assumed / expected the battery dock was on the outside - allowing for large capacity L batts. As it is with this module, you maybe only get another hour out of your Nanlite tube with L batts it’s designed for. It’s very difficult to get batts in and out without using a blade or prying tool. Also would have been helpful to design with usb c cable with right angle / 90 degree end and/or make cable removable so you could use any length. Design was a little short sighted. I bought 2 for my Pavo tubes. Will prob keep now as add’l kit but I see use being very limited for me.

You cannot regret this product, it is impossible and affordable but not a cheap minded tool!
