I just now bought this and fed it to my coral. They only thing I can say right now: I hope the coral like it because this stuff sure does stink! LolIf my coral like it and grow in a couple weeks I'll give it more stars.I'm coming back and giving more stars. This stuff still stinks really bad but the coral love and already have a few babies.😃

Using reef roids and polyp booster is the key to my success. I have enjoyed the hobby for 10+ years and sold many corals at shows and supplied stores. My colours and quality were all thanks to these amazing products and they were highly saught after.

Bought as a feed for my corals. I mix a very small quantity (half a small tea spoon in 5ml of RO water) to create a slurry in a dish and feed the corals using a syringe. The corals love it and readily consume it....as does all manner of other creatures that pounce as soon as the first drop is released from the syringe. Because the slurry is heavier than water it is easy to dribble a little of the mix onto the polyps...I find I have to give some to my shrimp at the start just to keep him occupied otherwise he’ll steal from the polyps. I originally used tank water to mix the slurry but recently read that using RO water is better for inverts as it saves them energy by not having to expel salt from their food stuffs. The corals have bulked up very quickly being fed reef-roids twice a week....it's a remarkable food! You can also just squirt this stuff into the water and let the power heads blow it around the tank where it'll be caught by filter feeders...

I was sort of skeptical about using this product in my 12 gallon nano cube, but it has turned out to be the best coral food product I've ever used.I used to feed Mysis shrimp. I found that fish and inverts would steal the shrimp from corals... I currently don't have any fish or shrimp in my tank, but I do have a serpent star and various snails, as well as an emerald crab. I feed the Reef Roids to my corals through a pipet, injecting the food (mixed with tank water) into every polyp I can find (My tank is vastly LPS dominated). I do this shortly after the lights turn on, and I think my corals are trained to eat during the day now... Feeder tentacles are always out. Pumps should be turned off when feeding reef Roids, otherwise the food will just flow away from the coral. After feeding, I leave the pumps off for 15-20 min to let them eat what they want.I haven't yet tried this with any SPS corals. I did pick up a Jack-O-Lantern Lepto the other day, so we will see how that does... I'll update the review when I've had it for long enough.I had a recent incident when I was away for 5 weeks, and the caretaker forgot to turn the main pump on after a feeding. Most of the corals were shriveled up and almost dead, and several polyps had bailed out. After a vigorous cleaning, I've been feeding the coral twice a day, and they are making a quick comeback; especially with Acans that were barely visible on their skeletons when I got home. The one drawback to this product is how easy it is to use too much. It introduces plenty of nutrients into the tank (which translates to nitrates). It should only be fed 2-3 times a week. Since I'm doing daily feedings until my corals are better, I'm doing 3 small water changes a week.Polyp booster, another product from the same company, is a great addition to a coral feeding program. I add a couple drops to my tank a few minutes before feeding, and it helps initiate a feeding response so that the Roids are taken in more easily.

Purchased this after talking with the owner of my LFS who swore by them. I mix this with a dose of Aquavitro Fuel and spot feed with a turkey baster. I have a 29gal biocube with several LPS a few SPS and lots of inverts. Also a pair of clowns and a lawnmower blenny. My main concern was that I had purchased what I was told was Alevopora coral that turned out to be Goniopora. I have read how difficult they are to keep so reading this was designed for them I figured I would give it a shot! I have only been using this product for a little over a month but I can say that there was a highly noticeable difference in all of my corals. They have been opening a lot more and the colors have become more vibrant. My Goni coral went from opening about 1/4" to extending its tentacles 3/4" and it has really brought out the brightness of its colors. My inverts also go nuts for this stuff. I would recommend shutting off pumps and just leaving power heads on at first and squirt a little in to kind of get the corals into "feeding mode". Then spot feed away and turn on your power heads only for about 30-45min or until the water looks crystal clear again. I purchased this and Coral Frenzy together and I can honestly say that my corals respond better to the Reef-Roids. They grain is noticeably finer than the Coral Frenzy so it does not settle on the bottom of the feeding bowl as much. Just be very careful. A little goes a LOOOOOOOONG way! :)
