I bought this roll of natural rattan cane webbing to use in making foraging toys for my parrot, and it’s absolutely perfect for the job.It cuts cleanly with heavy-duty scissors or a rotary cutter, with minimal fraying. There's no chemical smell—just a natural, untreated feel—which gives me peace of mind using it for my bird. It’s soft enough for shredding fun, and my parrot took to it immediately.Great quality, bird-safe, and ideal for enrichment projects. I’ll definitely be purchasing more!

I followed directions and soaked in warm water then placed on a flat surface and added a heavy flat object on top hoping that it would dry completely flat for my project. Sadly nothing worked. It just kept wanting to warp back to a rounded center because of being shipped in a roll. Already had cut so I could not return. I would say it's fine if you are making rounded items.

This is beautiful natural webbing. I used it to recover a lampshade. It was easy to cut and pretty easy to work with.

I got this on a whim because Ive been interested in flipping furniture to save money. I love the boho esthetic and this rattan fits perfectly. I’ve never worked with this type of material before so I really don’t have anything to compare it to regarding the quality. However from what I can tell it looks well made and I really enjoy the neutral coloring. Just make sure to soak the whole roll in water (for around 30 mins) before you try to unroll otherwise it will be very difficult. There are so many diff DIY projects that I want to do using this beautiful rattan, Im very excited to use!

Upon receipt the roll was pretty tight so expect to make some space to help you lay it flat for a few days. I appreciate the use of natural materials like this, because I hate the look of plastic rattan. The material itself is thinner than I expected, but not impossible to work with. For now, I've been testing small pieces before I make use of the whole roll for my home decor diy projects which are slow going, and it's such an expensive material, so I plan on updating with more photos when the time comes. So far, I've found that soaking the piece I'm working with really helps with more flexibility, but don't forget that it will shrink a bit after drying and lightly treat it with a wood conditioner to last longer. In no way does it feel brittle at all and I trust this will last a while especially with a bit of care.
