I liked the simplicity and compact design. It fit perfectly in my air compressor housing. A good value. Came with new gauge although it was back mount stem and I had to use my old bottom mount gauge to see it in the compressor cabinet housing

This pressure regulator (PR) has a "universal sizing" for most applications of a PR of this size. The Craftsman compressor has a proprietary air manifold but the parts from this PR once removed from the machined metal block (pressure regulator knob, spring seat, and bottom plate) screwed right into the original manifold PR location. Regulator knob was slightly shorter than original knob but didn't impact function at all. Basically disassembled original valve and use most of this new one to restore full operation to a leaking PR valve. This PR valve has good o-ring gaskets nicely greased with silicon lube, also the PR spring valve seat swapped out one-for-one with the old spring valve seat. Fixed leaking a 125 PSI pressure regulator & restored older Craftsman Compressor to 100% full operation. See photos.

A totally worthless POS, Didn't regulate squat. Not worth the trouble of returning. I'm just glad it was cheap. I'll get another unit somewhere else and just chalk this up to experience..

I hate to say this because this seems like a very high quality product. Here is my use and experience :I hooked two emglo small twin tank portable compressors about 7 cfm each to a manifold.I put this Mini pressure regulator on it a few inches from the compressors (no long hose).I am trying to run a small Jet angle drill that is rated at 90 psi 4 cfm. When I run it with another similar regulator that used to be mounted on one of the emglo compressors the drill runs at a decent speed and can easily drill through 1/4 inch steel plate with a 3/8 inch bit. When I use this new Mini regulator the speed drops off in no time and the drill is gutless. I switched back the good regulator and all is well. Both are very small "mini" regulators. I was hoping to take my drill and this new regulator to work and use it to knock back the main line pressure from 120 to 90 for very occasional use.Looks like I am in the market for some other regulator.Maybe I will take this one apart to see if I can fix it but as is nada.I had the flow arrow pointing the right way.I sure wish it would work. I like the look of the thing.

This is a quality built air pressure regulator, but it is more the size to be used at the compressor end of the air line.. Having purchased a DeVilbiss Starting Line paint gun set, I wanted to have a regulator for each of the two guns. The set comes with one. I also wanted to use it with a texture gun. This was advertised as a mini, but it twice the size of the DeVilbiss regulator and would be pretty cumbersome to use attached to a spray gun or texture gun.Though it won't work for my application, I would highly recommend it if you need one for a home use compressor up to 5HP.

I own a twin tank portable compressor and I looked at this one and took a chance hoping it would fit in a tight location It was the samestyle that came with the compressor more than 13 years ago. Glad I saw this ,if I would have ordered it from the manufacture "OEM" it would have been more pricey. It works wonderful.'

The regulator went out on my compressor resulting in a "free flow" condition. This was an exact replacement, so I removed the "guts" and rebuilt the old one while still on the compressor. Quick easy fix which didn't cost and arm and a leg, and has worked fine for months. Now I need to figure our a use for the pressure gauge which I didn't need!

I have a 8 year old C-H compressor that has been leaking for the past 4 years. I finally decided to do something about it. After removing and replacing all connections and using yellow Teflon tape (gas tape), I still had a slight leak. I finally discovered that somehow the threads in the regulator were partially damaged. This was a very inexpensive and quick fix and the best part is that the cost was about half of what other regulators were listed for. I merely removed the plug to put it on the other side and then installed. The gauge has to go on last in order to spin the regulator on. I'm sure anyone who buys this item will be happy with the results.
