Way too many features if all you need is simple in and out times. I don't have time to figure this out. It wants to know what schedule and shift an employee works, what is considered late, what is considered early, etc.As far as I know, it works fine, but honestly, this went straight into the junk drawer after about a week.

THe USB that contains the software - did not work. Software did not load - and not compatible with MS windows 10. Need someone to contact me regarding using the software otherwise this machine is useless.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $129.99 with a $30 off coupon being offered by the seller. Pricing is fair and reasonable especially when factoring in the $30 off coupon which helps lower the pricing to about right at the $100 mark. An affordable option.Comes in a fairly typical and standard design and look and while some do it better than others, the overall design is simply fair. Given the value it’s fine. Same goes with the build quality, fairly typical although better models do exist but likely for a little more. For the value, the design/build are both decent. Keypad is a little basic but if basic is all you need than this unit might be one to consider.Works much better than manually logging hours. Also comes with a convenient fingerprint scanner which you wouldn’t want to entirely rely on but makes logging in easier. Overall works as intended.TAKE NOTE: This one offers more of a basic or baseline features. For a more comprehensive set, look elsewhere to consider more options.

The machine appeared to be working well. It was a little confusing at first but no real problems. It was recording the time when the employee arrived, and the time they went home. After 3 weeks we noticed that it was not adding the hours correctly for each week. I emailed customer service, and they said that I needed to set shifts for each employee, and then the employee had to work that shift. Or there would be errors. Our employees come and go at various hours, and we do not have shifts, So the machine would not work for us. I think that any time recording machine should be able to correctly record and add employee hours for a week - regardless of when they come in or leave. This machine cannot do that.

I had hoped this would work for my office, as we're super small (2 full time and 1 casual employee) but we gave up on trying to use this.It's really hard to program as you have to click through multiple buttons on the time clock to enter info, and one field, like name was so difficult, we gave up and just put initials.We also couldn't get the fingerprints to read some days. If we had set up pins, it probably would have worked, but we were all so frustrated from the set up, we gave up and shoved it back in its box.If you have alot of patience, you might fair better, but I wasn't a fan of it.

Overall, we are pleased with this time clock. It does not have tons of bell and whistles, but what it has works well. Most notably is the fingerprint scanner which works the first time 99% of the time.Set up was not bad at all and over the last month we have had no issues with it.We needed a basic time clock at a good price and this one was a perfect fit for us.We are pleased, and we would buy it again.5 STARS
