Excellent, compact, easy to use power supply. Setting precise values for voltage and current are simple. The four memory settings are extremely convenient when, like me, you are switching from (for example) 3/5/14/24 volts constantly. I also like the ability to set it into constant voltage or constant current mode. The buttons are firm but require less force than it takes to move the device (if on a surface the rubber feet can grip to reasonably well). Finally, I bought this model after purchasing (and returning) their slightly less expensive model where you have four voltage & current adjustment knobs. If you are considering saving a few dollars buying that model, don't. The modest bump in price for this one pays off in huge usability dividends. You get a massive improvement in usability with this model. See my other NICE-POWER review and you will see what I mean.

As others have written, this is a very useful power supply for home projects. It is easy to adjust, and the memories (V / A) settings are very nice. Using an encoder wheel makes it easy to precisely dial in settings. That said it can be better: At the bottom of the Color screen there are 3 indicators which are almost unreadable. The first one is the Output Mode (CC Constant Current / CV Constant Voltage) White letters on a Light Blue background. The second one indicates which memory setting (M1, M2, M3, M4) White letters on a Yellow background. The third is Output state (ON .OFF) White letters on an Orange background. Had these been Black letters they might be readable. I hope a firmware update can fix this. And as other reviewers have said, for the price it is very nice, but not a lab quality supply.I am using this to play with 12V LiFePO4 batteries to perform "Top Balancing" which requires keeping the battery at a constant Top state of charge, but requires little current (less than 100mA). This 30V 10A supply handles it without a problem. I also use it to charge my batteries, 10A is enough for playing with 50Ah and 100Ah batteries. When I need faster charging I use a LiFePO4 rated battery charger.

This power supply cannot be controlled by a computer. I've tried on Windows, Linux, and Android. None of them recognized any storage where you might find the software to use it, and none of them recognized it as a USB device where software could potentially interact with it. I would have tried the RS-232 but it didn't come with a cable for it.The manual is useless. Its a generic pamphlet meant for the whole series, the specifications list contains errors instructions for regular use are already bad, and it doesn't mention anything about software control beyond the ports existing. It fails to be able to use the only feature you would want it for over any of the other cheaper, easier to use, and more robust options available.

I bought this to anodize titanium for jewelry that I design. It works like a charm and is really easy to setup.

…for the price. Am using it to power B+ on various home made, experimental tube circuits. It does have some electrical noise in my ham radio receiver…but nothing obnoxious. Works a-ok for what I need.

I needed a DC power supply that could produce 120VDC, at 3 Amps, and this power supply worked perfectly. It's very accurate and easy to use.
