Brake Caliper
Where?
- A brake caliper straddles each rotor in the front, which is mounted to the wheel hub
How many?
- While many ATVs have 4 brake calipers, 1 for each wheel, it is not uncommon for an ATV to have only 3 calipers.
How it works?
- When the brakes are applied, brake fluid is pushed from the master cylinder to the caliper piston. The force of the brake fluid causes the piston to apply pressure to the brake pads, which then squeeze the rotor. The friction and heat created by the brake pads on the rotor creates a drag on the rotor

I put this caliper on my 2006 raptor 350. Seems to work good. Does what it's supposed to do. Just wish it would've came with a new bracket to bolt it on. It was very difficult to get the old bracket off of the old caliper.
