I accidentally bought the renewed version which I wouldn't usually do on a food item. My mistake.I cleaned it especially good before using. We have used it with no issues, it works as it should. It's actually a lot of fun and easy to use.It is noisy, but considering it is grinding through ice, it's not too bad.It will take a while to "pay" for itself, but we will definitely get there, enjoying the ice cream along the way.

My husband bought me this for Valentine’s Day and I absolutely love it! I usually make sorbet (mango is my favorite). I’m also pregnant and this machine makes me stay healthy when I’m making my late night sorbet snack and I couldn’t be happier. I use frozen fruit in the machine and just turn it on and I instantly have my little snack ready to go. I know the tutorials say to put whatever you’re gonna make in there, let it freeze and then put it in the machine and blend. But you literally can just put frozen fruit in there and go on about your business without having to wait a few hours before you can actually enjoy your snack. I put the frozen fruit in with some agave for sweetener and blend. FYI, DONT ATTEMPT TO MAKE PINEAPPLE SPRBET WITH FROZEN PINEAPPLES. Worse mistake of my life. The pineapples need to be juiced first, then frozen, then blended. Lesson learned LOL. I put frozen pineapples thinking it was gonna be like the mangoes. Boy was I wrong. It was a stringy mess.

I want to start by saying that I really enjoyed using this device; however, I cannot recommend purchasing it, especially from Ninja. My experience with their customer service has been disappointing, and I believe there are better options available.I purchased the device in August, and by February, it had already broken. When I contacted Ninja for assistance, they informed me that they could replace the unit, but I needed to call a different number to proceed. Unfortunately, I discovered that my warranty had expired after 90 days.During the call, the representative mentioned that the issue I faced—a separation of the blade from the machine, which ultimately caused it to burn out—is a common problem with this model. It's frustrating to think that they were eager to take my $200 six months ago but were not as committed to standing behind their product.Amazon's customer support was no help either; they directed me back to Ninja.If you decide to purchase this device, I genuinely hope your experience with Ninja's customer service is better than mine. However, based on my experience, I would recommend considering alternative brands that offer more reliable support.

Renewed but new. I bought this as renewed. Although it did not come with any documentation it was packaged really well and from what I could tell this was actually new. I wasn't concerned that it didn't come with the recipe book, to me that wasn't worth the extra $50. If you're on the fence buying this renewed to save some money, just do it. The manuals are free to download in PDF. Love it so far.

This is a replacement (under a Amazon add-on warranty) Creami for our original purchase - which was a refurb. The 1st machine lasted about 3 months and then began having an electrical smell. And it made grinding noises. So far this replacement machine (factory new) has worked flawlessly. In this particular case I suspect that buying a refurbed was not a good idea. Usually....almost always....I have good luck with refurbs from Amazon.
