We were looking for something for our dog pool to use overnight to avoid mosquitos. It’s lightweight, easy for one person to put on and the perfect size (size can also be adjusted with a drawstring) It’s also very durable, it has rained on it multiple times and it still kept its integrity and stayed taught over the pool!

This is a great pool for my dog 70+ lbs (not pictured) and her Bestie 42 lbs pictured. Important to keep the bottom of the pool protected, which is super easy. Purchase an Outdoor carpet, large enough to protect the bottom of the pool. The Trex Deck has boards so you don’t want the dogs NAILS (trim/file them first) to puncture thru the bottom of the pool, OR puncture thru on grass, so first down was the outdoor carpet, let it dry, we roll it up when not in use. Hold the sides open until several inches of water are in the pool, to keep it open. All the while keep an eye on the bottom when it first starts to fill so no wrinkles in the bottom to prevent tearing (from nails), Not Always necessary to fill it all the way, it’s their paws that feel the cool water. Benefits the pooches they don’t smell like lake water, also easy to shampoo the pooches once the water warms a bit. The dogs walk around ease in/out, also put the drain plug near the end of the deck (if using) or an area where water will drain away from a walkway. CHANGE WATER OFTEN…we also used a down spout from our gutters to drain the water away from the deck, supported by a few bricks, of course not necessary if the pool is on the grass but still use the outdoor carpet on the grass to provide a firm surface. The neighbors baby Francesca 6 months old loves to have her toes dipped in the clean water……..this is an awesome pool, easy to clean, folds up easily, follow directions to protect the bottom of the pool, and the Kids & Dogs will enjoy in the warm weather. We purchased an outdoor carpet from our local patio furniture shop, best investment to purchase for protection of the bottom of the pool. I e Ben as an adult stepped in the pool to cool off for a bit. This is a great purchase.

Sufficiently sized to pull all the way down to the bottom of the 12" deep pool. The elastic draw cord allows you to cinch the cover up at the bottom of the pool sides and keeps the cover from blowing off. The top floats on the surface of the water inside so rain will collect in it but that should be easy enough to pour off. It will keep tree debris and bugs out.

I bought this cover due to the “frequently bought together” recommendation when I purchased the pool.The cover is really easy to use and can be put on/taken off with only one person. It is extremely well made, insulated, and fits perfectly. It also has a draw string that can be cinched tightly to secure the cover to the pool and to prevent any unwanted critters from taking a dip.Of note, the first time I removed the cover from the pool, I was not prepared for how hot the insulated cover made the water. Definitely test the water yourself or allow time for the water to cool before allowing kids to jump in.Definitely recommend.
