Seems to work perfectly. The kit comes with the cable to plug into the wall outlet, then you need the cable that plugs from the Norcold to the AC/DC converter. We used the Norcold on a trip to Lake Powell staying at the resort. Usually, we're severely limited with how much we can fit in the fridge, but using this adapter we were able to bring the portable freezer in and keep all our food supplies cold/frozen for 5 days without having to continually fuss with ice or shopping every day.

I use this in my Jeep when I travel back and forth to my winter residence in Florida. Works great!

At an extra $50 this is over priced, a piss off, and an abuse of the customer by Norcold. It should be part of the original purchase. Geeze, at $5 they would make a profit! It's MADE IN CHINA!!! If Norcold wants to charge $50, make it in the US!
