I used these large bottle with terracotta stakes to keep my container garden watered all year long. I only had to refill them every 3-4 days and they kept things from wilting. Very sturdy bottles that tolerated temperature changes from 80 F days to 48F nights, and several short drops to the ground. Only one shattered just last week as I was cleaning up my plants for winter, and it was because the top of the neck hit the edge of the cement sidewalk. I saved the box they were shipped in to store them over winter, and plan to reuse them again in the garden next spring.
