I am getting tired of buying junk from Amazon. My husband took everything out to start building this fireplace. The alignment is horrible. The mitered corners are awful. You see the cuts everywhere because they don’t align. He will have to caulk all the uneven spots. He had to use a furniture clamp in a couple areas and will have to sand a few areas and fix to match where the different boards meet.

I waited almost 3weeks for this ! I knew it was too good to be true because it was out of stock everywhere! I was sooo heartbroken looks like someone tried to put it together and over drilled and broke parts I almost cried! I pray it doesn’t take forever to get my refund :(

Assembly was fairly easy until it came time to put on the front. Other than that the directions were easy to follow and no parts were missing. Couple slight blemishes but not concerned about them. When the box arrived it was heavily damaged but the inside packing protected it.

This fireplace worked out great once I painted it. But I had to since I was disappointed in the original color. From the website picture, it looked like a cream color, but in reality it was more pale brown with darker brown wood streaks running through it so I ended up using some leftover paint used on the trim and doors in my house and that turned out to work out even better as you can see from the pics. Also it was very easy to paint since I did that before installing the fireplace insert so I didn't have to worry about marking off the places I didn't want to get paint on.It was also easy to assemble. I managed to put it together in about an hour AND all by myself even though there's a step in the instructions that advises that 2 people lift it before continuing. Instead I stood it up before that step and assembled it the rest of the way from that position.Overall I'm giving it 4/5 stars since I absolutely love the finished product.
