This optocoupler has another, green, LED in series with the LED in the actual coupler, not sure why. That increases the turn on voltage to something close to 5V. I bypassed that LED with a short length of wire in the back of the PCB. Now it turns on at 3V or probably lower. Other than that it works well.

No spec. Test input is 5K plus LED voltage. Starts to turn on at 3.35V. I did not check the output current vs input current yet.

This didn't work at all. The input and output terminals had a short so it never switches 'off'.

The module is nicely built. There is no documentation include with the product. There is no documentation on the Internet for this module.I reverse engineered the product and added a 56 ohm resistor in parallel with the inputs to get the module to turn on with 100 mA current. The output is optically isolated from the input and can easily handle the 24VDC typical with industrial PLCs. Worked great.

Unit had extremely high energy consumption. required over 8v signal input to function. High gate leakage, would not turn hard off. Failed at 13.2V 6.7amps 14.7khz. Smoked and failed after 45 seconds. Driver did not function as advertised.A year or so later....I was cleaning my bench and found one of these laying around. I decided to test it before tossing it. I hooked it up and it kinda worked and the quit. I looked it up and made sure all the wires were correct, yep. It did not work with the power on, but with power turned off the pwm light flashed weekly in time with the input signal. On a hunch I reversed the input signal wires and turned the power back on. The lights all lit brightly and the oscilloscope showed a clean PWM signal! Long story short the input PWM labels are reversed. The chip works up to 24v and will perform far faster than the listed 20khz

I tested it with my STM32, it was not working in the beginning. The input signal light is turned on but the output is not. After several minutes of test, I found 5V input is needed, in other words, 3.3V will not work.Once I solved this problem, it works like a champion.
