The spur straps seem to be good quality and thick enough with a black polished leather that would be suitable enough for competitions. The length seems about right with my spurs, and the big plus is they have a 2nd set of keeper loops to tuck extra strap length into, so the straps don’t stick out to the side but are flush to the foot, which was a smart design. Also, the buckle holes seem to be in the right spot and are wide enough diameter to fit the buckles through. I can’t say how they will hold up over time, but in the first week of use, they seem to be a good quality for the value.

So far so good. Used several times, seem sturdy, nice leather. Good keepers.
