I was so thrilled after discovering the rubber teeth on the drive belt that came with my belt sander had been obliterated, that this was an immediate fix. Seeing my belt sander jump to life was such a relief. Perfect fix!

This works okay, but there is some minor slack in the belt and also the construction is nowhere near as good as the original. I don't think that it will last with any heavy sandy. I am only guessing, but I think it might last 6 months. I would recommend just spend the few extra dollars and get an original replacement. I am going to and then just use it until it breaks.
