Regulator lasted 49 miles. Ended up having to get the HD dealership to recover the motorcycle (=$$$). Their mechanic checked out the alternator stator, battery and associated wiring just as I had done and found no other problems.Replaced with a Made in USA regulator and no more problems.Since I had purchased with Prime the return was no problem and refund received.

It drained the battery the following day. Conducted test w/multi meter found out defective regulator….
