This is the exact OEM prop for my Yammy 115. I can’t speak for non OEMs. But this is perfect quality. I would only suggest to Yamaha to include a new cotter key, and small tube of matine lube. Neither of these can be found at your local auto parts store.Oh yeah, if you think there is ever a chance of hitting an immovable object with your prop, don’t put on stainless steel. And acquaintance of mine did that, and instead of breaking the prop, it broke the driveshaft and cost $1Ks to fix.

When I hit a submerged stump and broke the prop on my 90-hp Yamaha outboard I was going to call the service shop and have them replace it. But a couple of friends told me how easy it is to change the prop yourself, so I purchased this replacement and had it swapped out in no time. There are cheaper props available, but I thought it best to use a Yamaha replacement because I don't have the experience to judge the quality of 3rd-party parts. This prop came in a Yamaha box and is identical to the original one that came on the outboard. Before ordering, just check the numbers that are engraved on the old prop to make sure you're ordering a prop with the same specs.If this is your first time replacing a prop, you will also need a special wrench (I ordered the Camoo Polymer Propeller Wrench 1-1/16" Nut Wrench at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08VN229N4/) and marine grease (I ordered Quicksilver / Mercury 2-4-C Marine Lubricant / Grease w/ Teflon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001HWPZ6Y/). When you remove the old prop, there are parts that may stick to it because of the old grease, so don't think that this new prop is missing something like I did when I first pulled the old one off.

Many that I looked at were not genuine parts. This one is genuine Yamaha part. Quick and reasonable.

I loved the fact that the propeller is a genuine part, a little dismayed that a hub kit was not included in kit, my motor had an aftermarket propeller with an adapter kit for that propeller. Besides that very satisfied with price and value

Bought this after doing extensive research. Bought it in hopes to print up my WOT rpm on my 02 Yamaha 90 2 stroke. Did just that. Brought up my RPM’s to about 5,100 at WOT. Coming from the stock Rapture, stainless steel which saw about 4,400-4,600rpm. It def gets it out of the hole compared to the old one. But, it does “blow out” easier than the old stainless steel prop. As long as you’re on top of keeping it trimmed while turning, it’s absolutely a better prop.

If you order this product you will receive exactly what you expect, a Yamaha factory propeller. Sizing was right and it was shipped/received much faster than anticipated which got me on the water faster. Great distributor, great product, will buy again as soon as I ding this one.

They sent the wrong size prop at first but the customer service was very polite and quick to get back to me. I got the right part before the end of the same week which was important to me in this case. The prop is Yamaha so you know it will be the best match for a Yamaha motor.
