Used this pump to transfer about 2 gallons of Transmission Fluid before she caught fire and burned up. Within about 30 seconds I could see it was smoking but figured maybe that was normal. Burned up within 3 minutes of running.

I bought this pump to change the oil in my boat. It's a 5.7L Volvo penta. This pump took nearly 30 minutes to accomplish the task. I should note that there was only 4' of head tube, and roughly 8' of tail tube, oriented well below the oil sump, so there should've been a syphon/gravity assist. I returned the unit.
