I was doing the oil pan gasket and rear main seal in my 1997 Jeep xj and I figured I’d replace the pump while I’m down there because it’s probably never been done in 30 years. People say not to do after market pumps unless it’s “melling” but I took a risk because I’m poor and the other products had good reviews. It felt heavy duty and even came with a high pressure spring if you need it. It’s been great! Slightly better oil pressure than my stock one. Been running it for about 6k and I’ve had no problems. I’d definitely recommend this pump for your Jeep 4.0Ls. It’s a good price and a good product!
