  • Package Include: Oil pump primer tool x 1, aluminum sleeve x 1.
  • Application: The oil pump primer lets you spin the oil pump with a drill motor and bring up the oil pressure and moving the oil to the top of the engine prior to starting the engine, preventing unnecessary wear or damage to rotating and valve train components.
  • Fit: SB/BB Chevy V8 & Chevy V6 Engines, fits all small and big blocks including popular sizes of 327 350 355 383 388 400 406 427 434 454.
  • Design: Featuring a special billet aluminum sleeve that accurately positions the shaft and keeps it from wobbling. Thick shaft design with triangle shaped end for no slippage. For use with 3/8" or 1/2" chuck hand drill.
  • Material: The black part is made of iron with black oxidized surface. The blue sleeve is made of aluminum with oxidized surface.

The end sleeve of this tool is now in my motor. DO NOT buy this tool , unless you like removing your engine to retrieve the part. Since its a small block, I have to remove the motor to remove the oil pan and get the end of the tool off the oil pump.

I had an old distributor that I was using. This inexpensive tool worked great!!

The tool fit the distributor opening very well. The tool is used to pre-prime the engine with oil after a complete overhaul.
